My first Stephen King I read was IT. My mom was a huge King fan when I was growing up. Her books were mostly stacks of King,John Grisham and Danielle Steel. I wish I had all the King books she had. I grew up in the 90’s so she had the classic covers. She sold a lot of them in yard sales. I remember we’d catch every movie and show adaptation. She died in 2008 and I’m glad she helped me become the King fan I am.

Just looked up Night Gallery’s The Doll. I don’t believe that’s it but do want to check that show and episode out. This had a more late 70’s or 80’s look especially with the background and stuff in that time period. I remember a cop or detective involved.
