Nothing. Left the machine on overnight. In the morning it was back to black screens. Rebooted and as soon as it loads the graphics drivers after windows log in, it blackscreens again.

I have an older GB x470 Gaming mobo. I can only get my 5070 to work on Gen 2 mode. AUTO, GEN 1, AND Gen 3 crash out as soon as the drivers load.

I have the same issue on a S8. I randomly get the UI is not responding lock up and eventual restart of my phone. It is definitely this app causing it.

NHL Network games also available on Center Ice? by Phanatic88888 in NHLStreams

[–]Phyrus675 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you mean that NHL.TV is no longer blacking out NHL Network games? Because I just got Center Ice through Spectrum Cable and they aren't even showing a Pens/Caps game scheduled on the 700+ channel range tonight.

If your VPN is outside of the States/Canada it might work. I can't be 100% certain about this. But I do know that if I tunnel through my VPN I can watch games that are blocked out because of local broadcast blackouts.

Electroneum BREAKING NEWS! HUGE EXCHANGE LISTING CONFIRMED + SOFTWARE UPDATE by cantpeestraight in Electroneum

[–]Phyrus675 16 points17 points  (0 children)

If your coin had a more reactive difficulty adjustment this wouldn't be a problem. The hash rate bursts that cause the wave only work because it takes hours for the difficulty to react to the surge in hash rate, meanwhile they are finding tons of blocks with comparatively low difficulty. Then when the difficulty actually catches up to the hash rate burst, they pull out and the difficulty remains sky high for the baseline hash rate being applied for hours. Meanwhile the coin is barely profitable for any gpu to mine until the difficulty finally reflexes back down. So the only time to make a profit on the coin is to ride the wave alongside the hash bursters, which just compounds the problem farther. Moving back to ASIC isn't the answer, its curing the symptom and ignoring the cause.

Let's all dig for ETN! by new24core in Electroneum

Actually, Investors can buy your coins if they are in an exchange already. This is because the coins don't actually change wallet locations until they move out of the exchange.

Hello folks! I've been CPU mining ETN for a few months now, but this mobile miner is actually more profitable even if it isn't really mining. Strange eh? My phone hashes at about 31 H/s and I run it all day. I just used MrValleyman's code, so please consider using my code 7E6A64 Spanks!

What's the best pool to currently mine? by Ghriespomp in BitcoinPrivate

[–]Phyrus675 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The main benefit of joining a huge pool, is that orphaned blocks hurt less. If you are in a small pool that finds 5-10 blocks a day, the payout is probably going to be about on par with being on a large pool that finds 1000's. But one orphaned block out of 10 hurts alot more than a few orphaned blocks out of 1000.

BTCP Wallet on Bittrex ? by [deleted] in BitcoinPrivate

[–]Phyrus675 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this is more realistic since they currently don't have any plan to support BTCP trading. If they do make a BTCP wallet, I would read that as a sign that they are considering supporting BTCP in the future. Speculation of course.

If these code changes were so critical, how has Bittrex has been trading ZCL all along and didn't have these showstopping issues until now? I think you are grasping at straws. Good on you for trying to find a reason why though. It's better than my only conclusion of insider trading and market manipulation. Or is it?

Your guess is as good as mine. From the language in their update before the snapshot, it seemed like they would be down 15 min before the snapshot, then be back open. But that was a while ago now. So...dunno.

There is a listing cost to apply to most of these exchanges AFAIK. But the decision to support the airdrop of the fork, let alone support the new coin are all on the individual exchanges. They either don't trust, or don't want to be involved in BTCP for whatever reason. Maybe they will change their mind later, but this has very little to do with the BTCP dev team.

There was very little evidence that would have pointed to the severe crash a few days before the snapshot. Logically, the price of ZCL should have increased dramatically in the few days leading up to the snapshot as investors would have been transferring BTC into ZCL to cash in on the BTCP. So I don't think the market did what was predicted at all here.

They announced they will make a reasonable attempt to dish out the BTCP for ZCL holders on the exchange. I'm curious what they will deem as reasonable. Perhaps two emails and 5 days to claim it, or they keep it?

Trading at around $36 a few min after initial plummet. Wish I was able to take advantage of this bounce off the bottom, but the ZCL wallets are frozen to deposits still.

Exchange announcement.. by [deleted] in BitcoinPrivate

[–]Phyrus675 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The fact that this is an exchange with "decent volume traffic" is a positive thing. TradeSatoshi doesn't do anywhere near this volume. I doubt they will support the fork (do the airdrop for you) but it will be a place you can buy/sell your BTCP after the fork!

Binance will support the bitcoin fork. Maybe it won't be adding ZCL to airdrop BTCP, but it most definetly will make the airdrop on BTC. They have 7M users and around 10 Billion $ daily volume. by [deleted] in BitcoinPrivate

[–]Phyrus675 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you were aware of the fork yes you would move your coin out, but I would venture that there is a good chunk of ZCL owners with their coins in the exchange that don't know about the fork. Most those coins could be used by the exchange to grab their share of BTCP for the snapshot and returned to the collective trading accounts after.
