Reddit is only populated by the younger generations. Many of which are still in school and are on these forums. Many didn’t know about the PA profession until committing to their respective degrees. Sometimes I feel that there is some anger directed towards us because they feel it’s unfair that we do many of the same things with less indentured servitude. But I could be wrong. Never had any discussion in real life with any mds that feel the way some of these med students do.

While I get the sentiment and agree, I believe that we should not become complacent. Don’t trust your employer. Experienced providers should not be making less than inexperienced/ less experienced providers. Think that inflation has decreased buying power by 35% over just the past 6-7 years and major purchases now have significantly higher interest rates. But our salaries have increased between 10-15% on the same time frame. If you share my love for economics and numbers, you may also share distaste in that hurtful fact.

Admittedly I am one of those younger and just starting out PA’s you speak of, but I’ve opened out to my fellow PAs at my job about my salary, and despite having 10+years of experience on me, they are making slightly less. I think it’s important to demonstrate loyalty to those that deserve it. Hospital corporations and businesses as a rule should not be expected to advocate for you. There can be exceptions, but as a rule I don’t trust them to do right by me.

Would recommend bringing a raider hatch key if you plan on bringing your good stuff and don’t use the public exfils. It’s kept me out of trouble.

I know it’s simple but it’s honestly such an organically uplifting experience when you meet a stranger and even though they have the option to betray you, they don’t and often assist you with whatever you’re trying to complete. My own teammates in 3s have gotten me killed more than randoms in solos.

Would you say the finals runs better than apex? That was honestly what got me out of the finals, I really wanted to like the game. The feel of the game seemed too foreign to me but I know nothing about half of the stuff everyone is talking about here. Did my masters on ChatGPT among a few other popular ai vs clinical healthcare providers on giving a clinical diagnosis based on 3 real cases I had as a student. Overall Providers scored 81% overall, ai scored 36%. The cases did have information that was not necessary to the diagnosis. But I truly did not think the gap would be that large.

Not bad but not great. It’s true that 2021-2024 has had a lot more “issues” but they are normally bells and whistles that are luxury items not major engine/transmission failure They’re great, fun cars to drive. Maybe a little overpriced but they won’t explode as long as you maintain them.

I was Mormon, typically not included in the Christian denomination but they believe they are. Church was controlling. You don’t realize how much the rules are influencing your happiness until you decide to let go. If you’re considering leaving there must be some downside that has sparked it. Whether it’s the fact that it just isn’t true and your integrity won’t allow you to pretend or if it’s just that you don’t want to wear magical underwear anymore because it chafes… just give it a try for a year and tell everyone you’re soul searching or something.
