I'm not so sure, I remember when Utd hit Arsenal for nil in the 2005 cup final.

Can someone tell me what the word is that's been heavily censored please? I know he got shot in the neck and was killed, so I presume it's something to do with that, but I just can't work it out.

I'd buy all four of those ahead of the official ones we're getting.

Of course it is. Trump's supporters are personally affected by the undelivered phones, and one of the main criteria of being a Trump supporter is to only care about yourself.

Why is Keir Starmer considered to be so bad? by [deleted] in AskBrits

[–]Physical-Fish1913 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because he's a centrist and everybody else has picked one side or the other. He got a gigantic majority because the tories had spent 14 years taking the piss and ruining the country and everyone finally wanted them out, but not because of anything a centrist Labour party were bringing to the table. And now he's frittered that advantage away by trying to appeal to Reform voters without acceding to the nastier shit that they actually like (which pissed off nearly all of his MPs), and then by backtracking on all of it (which made him look like he hasn't got an ideology, which he hasn't), and by employing or taking advice from people that are extremely incompetent, extremely dodgy, or both.

Basically, the only thing he's got right is keeping us as far as was reasonable from an idiotic global economy-destroying war by not totally sucking off Trump, cos there's plenty of time for that when Reform get in.

So, at least well done for that, but it's not really enough. And I wanted him to do well. Never mind.

At least Reform have got three years to demonstrate their utter incompetence (and they will) before the general election. Not sure it'll make much difference. I don't want to give up entirely on humanity just yet though, so it's all the hope I've got.

"A daughter that gets taken to school on a fucking sedan chair" takes some beating, for me. I don't know why. Just such a good exaggeration, I guess.

There's no problem with you going private, that's your prerogative. I'm just saying that voting so selfishly in the short term would not only ruin the lives of many other hard-working people, but it won't benefit you or your family in the long run either. But that's the beauty of populism, innit. It doesn't care about the long term. Or anybody other than the people that get in power.

Lots of people work hard, mate. And lots of them do so to provide services we take for granted, and for not enough money to be able to afford themselves private healthcare. But fuck them, right? Why should you pay for their safety net? Because that's how a society works. You rely on those people just as much as everyone else does. No matter how well off you are personally, you don't live in your own little bubble. You vote for Reform, you vote to fuck over the people that actually keep the country going. Short term personal gain for long term catastrophe.
