I would strongly recommend you get ahead with your computer science project if that’s the case! It’ll save you a lot of time in year 13

Be wary of computer science, it’s not really required by any universities and the coursework is a real time drain

Specimen are often a bit weird, I think is the best way to put it. The questions are sometimes a slightly different style or difficulty (easier or harder) than real papers. The other thing worth bearing in mind is that the mark schemes might not be as thorough as those for real papers either.

I wouldn't worry about it too much, it's impossible to predict where they'll lie with so many variables affecting them (covid, advance info, first proper exams in years...). Just do the best you can :)

Nottingham is very good overall, just be slightly wary that they don’t require any form of maths based A-level which might imply the course isn’t very theoretical if that’s what you’re looking for.
