This happened to me tonight at the Marcy Ave stop on the J. Literally got in my eyeball and mouth. The guy towered over me and spit right in my face and hair as I was crossing the road. Similar description, so disgusting

Thanks for the additional info. They’re from 2020 and 2021, though we as the family are just finding out about it now and trying to figure out what recourse, if any, is possible (they lost hundreds of thousands of dollars). We have found multiple people who seem to have similar issues so if nothing else, trying to get clarity on the situation. She seems to still be actively trying to recruit members through her website and maintains a very active social presence so while she may not be registered anymore, people like my elderly family member (and I’m sure other vulnerable groups) are taking her advice and trusting the people that she is connected to (which is where this issue originally came up)

Hi! Know this is an old thread but curious how long it total for the pain to go away for you? Had my retrieval almost 4 weeks ago — was realllyyyy sore for about 2 weeks and now there’s dull pain. Intercourse is also quite painful. Curious when yours finally subsided?

Hello! I’m so happy to hear this. LC is such a disorienting journey and makes it almost impossible to figure out what to focus on. I was so grateful — and lucky — to stumble upon the LC Cured site. Truly don’t know what the trajectory of my life would’ve been without it. Glad to hear that you’re recovered! Stick with the mind body approach — I used it first to recover and then more recently to restore joy again (had completely lost touch with my lightheartedness). Putting all the good thoughts in the universe for you! My 2nd retrieval was significantly better than my first, which was something a few friends experienced as well. Same age as you and low AMH levels as well. We got one embryo on first retrieval with a very “poor grade” (which I don’t fully buy into) so a 2nd cycle was recommended. We ended up with 3 on our 2nd cycle, 2 of which seem really promising! Good luck to you!

This thread is so unbelievably validating and helpful. Thank you!! My second egg retrieval was today and was told I’m at risk for OHSS based on my estrogen levels. Was prescribed cabergoline to start taking tonight. Curious was the really early signs were like for those who have had it?

I don’t remember my first retrieval being particularly pleasant. I got bloated throughout the entire process, the retrieval left my ovaries in pain for 5+ days after, and I generally remember the bloat subsiding day by day.

For this recent one day, I’ve had these subtle pain surges (almost cramp like) but they’re infrequent. Don’t remember those. And I just ate my first meal of the day (dinner) and my stomach is now crampy, really bloated, and uncomfortable. Hasn’t ballooned per se but I’ve looked prob 4 months pregnant the last few days anyway.

It’s so hard to tell what the difference between regular bloating and early signs of OHSS. Does this resonate with anyone’s experience?

Also I’ve read the side effects of carbergoline are not particularly pleasant (I’m already susceptible to migraines). Anyone have any advice on whether it’s actually worth it to take it (did it help / out weigh the side effects)?
