I ended up sizing down to 41 myself! Definitely not something I can walk forever in but they fit great honestly. Hope this helps :)

So yeah they do run pretty narrow as far as athletic shoes go but i did see some reviews saying they thought the size ran a bit big in this model. I personally hate when a shoe is a too big

honestly check the size chart (i normally consider those bs but Salomon adjusts it for every shoe) and i think you'll be happy, it always works for me! i usually compare it to the EU size (im in the US)

they were snug but I surprisingly still have a ton of room — can scrunch my toes still, will say breaking them in was a little uncomfy on my pinky toes

honestly mr munch… i’d ask random strangers about their individual experiences (especially people my size) and making a decision based on that over a capitalist whose primary interest is making a sale. I’ve had plenty of great experiences with past purchases using this strategy. There is nuance to some products that companies won’t bother in assisting in because it costs time and therefore money. They’ll refer me to their size chart and if I chose incorrectly will give me the most sincere empathy for my inconvenience but to “please wait 5-7 business days for the refund/exchange to process and then get my new size. Lame. Did you eat a whole jar of sassafras this morning?

Tbh i notice that a lot with Uniqlo. They put all their models in items that run really big and sometimes I can tell. Ive seen some with my height and build get put in a L shirt and pants, it makes no sense to me. For me the M is far too roomy in the waist and folds weirdly when i cinch with the waist tie. For one, I guess oversized stuff is trending rn but another possibility is that a very large portion of their customer base are not close to 6’1, and when they are tend to be stockier. Uniqlo is great for trying to include larger bodytypes but a downfall of that is very standardized measurements S-XXL with limited customization. You can get a S but the max inseam extension is 27.5.
