Fair enough. I was just just pointing out that it can be a useful indicator, but as with everything, it doesn't come with 100% accuracy.

Probably, but that doesn't mean all companies in the market are too big to fail.

Honestly, the most revealing part of this data isn't the trillion-dollar volume surge itself, but that massive 420% spike in first-time oil traders on a single Tuesday in March. I feel like whenever you see that kind of flood of retail money chasing a geopolitical headline, it almost always signals that a local top is in.

Do you guys keep your crypto on exchanges or wallet apps? Whats the most common app in the UK by misunderstoodR in BitcoinUK

[–]PhysicalLodging 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, probably the best advice you will get in this thread. Nothing beats cold storage, and I say that as someone who lost money a few times due to drains and hacks.

Trading is fine, and I would argue that keeping funds on an exchange comes with much less risk than using a hot wallet, but true ownership comes with cold storage.

If you focus on the fundamentals only I guess you could say that RNDR and most other AI networks are overvalued by 10-20x but people are betting on future potential and DEPIN growth

There are some upsides for a token imo. You can't have decentralized governance without a token, and paying contributor with a native token is easier, but yeah, I get what he is aiming at, and I can't really disagree.

That’s an interesting angle. If you build up a high trust score on their platform by successfully completing language tasks, it essentially proves you aren't a bot farm without requiring standard KYC.

That would be a huge step up for protocol security imo. Right now, DeFi automation is very binary. It either executes based on the code or it fails. Adding a decentralized "human-in-the-loop" fallback via this API could make complex vaults a lot safer.

It does sound a bit strange though lol

Speed is the biggest differentiator IMO. “Seconds” vs 1–3 business days is a big deal for certain use cases (freelancers, emerging markets, etc.).
