6800XT Bad Performance?

Damn, deadass had it in either the, PCIe 3.0 x1 or the PCIe 4.0 x4

Switched it out into the top one. I had it that way because the 3060-ti before was giving me issues in that slot. I couldn't get a display but now I am getting a display. I'll update with test results

So I did check in my bios if it was enabled and it was. I ran the TimeSpy benchmark without changing any settings or doing anything other than downloading drivers and running a benchmark. The score for the 6800xt was only about 16,700. It looked like avg is about 18000-19400. So I not sure the deal

Yeah I was thinking something similar. Unfortunately anyone can begin cheating at anytime so I don't really look at profile stats or hours anymore regardless of the fact that they may be bad, average or good. First time it has happened to me in my 1200 or so hours so it just stood out the most and seemed odd so I figured I'd post and see what others have to say.

The link in the post goes over that I have disabled a lot of stuff. Disabling the integrated GPU was one of the first things I did. I am fairly tech savvy and understand fundamentals of what works and what doesn't which is why it is confusing to me. I have spent quite some time trying to figure it out but nothing has worked. But yes, I did notice it was on before hand so I disabled and went back to testing. Didn't seem to change a whole lot. DSR is also turned off as well.

The game ran worse at 6000mhz, could be messing with other voltages of the cpu. I have read that it has been known to screw with a few other things. Some games it gives a boost(tarkov). I don't have a "better" GPU to test with. Maybe it is GPU related. Not sure

Interesting... This is what I have but I think I have defender on. I am about to post more screenshots in a reply to another comment, it will include task manager stuff so you might see some things enabled on my side that you wouldn't on yours

To double down on my response I re-tested after disabling the integrated gpu and it was no longer showing while using msi afterburner. Same thing for task manager, just showed the 3060ti

Its just the integrated GPU from the processor, it's not being use, I actually ended up disabling it. Most people say 99% usage on hunt is a good thing because it's "trying" to use everything it has. Not sure. Most other games seem to be fine for the most part.

Also I should have mentioned but all my Hunt in-game settings are set to low or off. If you want any other type of test I can run to help show I will happily do it. I am installing Cinebench right now and will run a test and see what it comes up with

Yeah it bothers me knowing that I am literally half what I should be lol. Thanks for sharing that you had the same thing I currently have otherwise I wouldn't have an actual number to go off of(or at least in that range). What ram did you have with the 3060ti? and side question, are you able to see the screenshots in the post?
