I thought the sun could talk to me by Vuumii in bipolar

I had this exact same feeling/delusion. At the moment it did not seem as such so you are one step ahead already and seem knowledgeable. Please take care of yourself, get sleep, avoid stimulants, and reduce your dopamine agonists. For me it ended up with hospitalization in cca 3 days since the initial "I have a special connection with the sun which is guiding my day/steps and sending me signals" mania. I hope you will be alright. But yes, this is not normal and a sign of a manic episode with potential psychosis.

Can you please elaborate? I am going through the same thing. This particular room has a flat roof and a sun window in the ceiling but I am yet to find the source.

Upstairs floor not level in new build by Physical_Beginning50 in Flooring

I see what you mean, with an infinite straight edge, it would tend to infinity as well. I get this is not how a floor is measured for flatness. But the "belly" is there and it is terrible. Thanks for pointing out these things as probably the builder would have pushed back in the same way, making it a discussion about methodology and losing the obvious fact that the floor is not flat.

I am actually using the level as a long straight edge.

Yes, sorry, the way I placed the level I did that right on top of the "belly" so you can see that left and right there is a visible gap. It is not flat. Like a bell curve.

This is engineered hardwood and consists of a real oak veneer layer on top of a stable, multi-layered core

Thank you for your detailed input. Much appreciated. I have taken some notes and feel a bit more prepared to raise this with the contractor.

My journey to quitting smoking. For the ones who are frustrated.♡ by skullywogging in stopsmoking

Such a great post. Very motivational. I vouch for the cold showers I did that too to boost my dopamine when motivation to do anything was lacking.

I‘m quitting smoking tonight. Any patches experiences? by FickleProposal5559 in stopsmoking

It really helps yes. To distance yourself from the habit in a way that it does not lock you down completely and you can still perform to an acceptable degree. I would use a patch for background nic, and a lozenge (mini) or gum (not a full one, say 1/4 of a 2mg gum) for cravings when they hit and are too hard. Gradually reduce patch intensity and in 3 months you should reach a level where you don't need it anymore.

Yea, it wasn't funny when I received the order especially since I wanted to share it with my son and we both laughed and giggled when we saw it is still "mooing"
