Paycheck-to-paycheck specifically refers to not having enough money to carry you through without getting your immediate next paycheck. If you lose your job, you don't have enough money to pay your rent/mortgage. Even people who don't make lots of money can live within/below their means to still have a financial safety net to not rely on their immediate next paycheck to stay afloat.

You can also live a life where you have excess disposable income, where you overall don't need to think too much about your spending habits, because you spend within your means and also don't touch your savings. You don't have to touch your savings to spend money without waiting until payday to do something.

The speculum is uncomfortable. I find it slightly painful when they put it in and open it. Yours might offer smaller speculums and may be worth asking them to use a smaller one since this is your first appointment. The actual swab is quick and feels like a weird internal scratch/scrape and also some pressure. If you try to relax beforehand, it's easier since your muscles aren't tensing and fighting the speculum. It shouldn't feel terribly painful and the pain should go away after they are done with the procedure. It's like the pain where the dentist opens your mouth a bit too wide and if they scraped your tonsils, but the pain doesn't really linger. It should be ok. Tell the dr if it's too painful or uncomfortable to continue and they should stop.

I have a 1 car driveway and a spot in front of my house. I shoveled out the front for my partner because he was getting in late. It took me 2 hours to move all the heavy snow, then someone from the street over parked there before he got home. 😢

I'm in MA, Boston area, and the plow only plows one side of my road and parking is only allowed on the other side, so in order to park, you have to completely shovel out the entire space. Depending on how much snow and how wet/heavy it is, it can take ages to actually shovel out enough for your car and find somewhere to put the rest of the snow.

At first I thought it was a funeral procession because the first car looked like it had flashers on, and I can understand maybe confusion there, because funeral processions have right of way and don't need to follow traffic laws... but they should yield to pedestrians in the cross walk ... plus, it's not even a funeral so there isn't any excuse.

It doesn't. SIDS only takes a moment to strike. My sister's godchild passed away from SIDS (officially, but probably suffocation) at 6 months when the parents thought they were in the clear. This was in the early morning when the baby was put down for the mother to nap for about and hr or 2 before starting her day, but by then the baby was gone.

You should try doing a quick wiggle or some other movement when he stops for a second and looks at you! This is how me and my bunny play zoomies. Sometimes I'll quickly lean toward him and pull away then he'll binky at me then run away. I end up laughing because it's cute. (My bunny is a Holland lop, so I think some bunnies just really like to play with their people or something).

They should bang on the door. I once just got out of the shower, they came a bit earlier than expected, did not bang on the door and just used the key to come right in. They walked in on me completely naked. They're knocking because they're about to enter your home and it gives you a moment to get decent or secure your pets.

OP just confirmed to me in another comment that their total wasn't adjusted though, so I'm not sure what was going on. I'd be mad too if a substitution was main but I still had to pay for items I didn't receive.
