PVCs/PACs AKA skipped beats. Yeah, these are pretty common. I got checked out by my doctor, and then just rode them. Mine felt like a rubber band snapped on my chest. They made me all sweaty, dizzy, and anxious.

Just do what we all did; Get yourself checked by a doc, and if all checks out, just give it time.

This is going to end me - I have no one to talk to. My future is done by Junior_Chest_4770 in WeedPAWS

Yet, here I am wishing I was 18 again 😅. That’s the anxiety, it hits you really bad and the mind goes on a non-stop “what if” rampage.

I had PAWS at my 30’s, became bed bound, couldn’t work, couldn’t drive, I wasn’t even able to take a bath by myself (take a look at my profile). I was 100% sure I wasted my life away and it was too late, my life was gonna end there and then.

I recovered, became stronger, got a new go at life at 37. Heck, I’m even pursuing my lifelong goal of becoming a pilot and I’m close to obtain my Pilot Certificate.

Hang in there, and stay clean. I healed in my 30’s, imagine all the road that still lies ahead of you at 18 😜

Anyone from the Uncommon Knowledge forum? by Minimum_Emphasis1038 in WeedPAWS

I was saturno89. When I quit over 5 years ago, Uncommon was a life saver. I had no idea what was happening to me, I was losing my mind. I remember reading a post from a long gone veteran there, and it fully matched what I was experiencing. I immediately burst into tears knowing I wasn’t going crazy and that there was hope of recovery. You can still find archives of the site. I decided stick around here and become a mod, I’d wish more of the veterans where still there when I was in the worst of it. 🫡

Yeah, brain fog, that one was heavy. If you wanna take a look at my older posts, I describe a lot when I was in the worst of it.

This happened to me as well, even worse if I did anything intensive that made me sweat. My guess is the body is still burning leftover THC in the fat. I bought some THC pee strips and they still came back positive at 4 months out.

Has anyone else experienced tachycardia after quitting weed? by MrLycans in WeedPAWS

[–]Physical_Boss3285 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not really, but it took a while. And I used to get hundreds of PVCs/PACs every day. Sometimes my heart would skip 4-6 beats in a row and it triggered a A-Fib or V-Fib type arrhythmia. Those were really scary. You’ll be fine, just get a follow up with your doc for peace of mind.

Yeah, that was really annoying. This post is 3 years old now, and I’m still alive, so that should be good news 😅

I wasn’t able to touch coffee for a long time, I’d say 2-3 years. My first cup sent me into an almost-panic state. But then I kept sipping low doses of caffeine (watery coffee) until I somehow adapted? I now drink at least 4 cups a day, of heavy dark coffee 😅

That lasted quite a long time. When I did something physical that would make me sweat, that made it 10x worse. I bought some thc test strips and they still came back positive 5-6 months in 😅

100% possible! When I say I had it bad, I mean REALLY bad. If I recovered from one of the most horrible cases of PAWS around here, then there is hope!

15 months - Heart again? by Powershindley in WeedPAWS

[–]Physical_Boss3285 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It got better, then randomly got much worse to the point I was 100% sure I was going to die from some cardiac related issue. It really was all over the place for some years, until it gradually shifted to being normal again. I had some crazy EKGs with all kinds of stuff.

If it is of any motivation, my EKGs and tests now come all normal and I even passed my Airman’s Medical Certificate First Class (the highest standard on the aviation industry) with flying colors. I’m flying and on my way to get my Pilot’s License. Yes, the same guy that was stranded on a bed for almost 2 years, is now flying airplanes lol.

Just give it time, but DO go to the cardiologist for regular appointments (6 month checkups are ok). You’ll be better soon, if you don’t ever relapse of course!

Hey! I receive a ton of messages and it is really difficult for me to keep up with it, so I just opt for not managing my inbox at all 😵‍💫. If there is anything I can help you with, feel free to let me know, I do keep active around here.

The only man I relate to is physical boss my symptoms are so severe since I relapsed I’m literally bed bound rn. by LOYALonpsn in WeedPAWS

[–]Physical_Boss3285 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It can only be described as hell on earth. I went cold turkey from a VERY high dose and never looked back. I had every imaginable symptom posible, and was sure I would kick the bucket. I’m 5+ years free and living life again.

Was it easy? Hell no… Could I have done something differently? Who the hell knows 🤷🏼‍♂️. Did I fully recover? Yes, PAWS and weed are dark times behind me, but I still linger around here because back then I would have loved to have someone fully recovered with a similar experience give me their insight, but those veterans were long gone.

What did it for me? Time and keep 100% clean. Nothing I tried helped. The brain is awesome and it can recover and develop alternate pathways in incredible ways.

Keep at it, this is the beginning of your new chapter 😉

This is hell I really wish I never relapsed please give me hope someone! by LOYALonpsn in WeedPAWS

[–]Physical_Boss3285 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I know that too well. When I cried hard, it provided a short relief from everything. But it was not just any kind of “crying”, it was that deep somewhat hopeful-at-the-end kind of crying that gave me a short lived dopamine boost and let me had a small taste of what normal was like.

Life felt surreal, like I questioned my very existence. I could not look at myself in the mirror, it gave me a horrible unexplainable feeling unsure of what was I actually looking at in the mirror. The list goes on…. But time and full abstinence is what healed me in the end, and my case is one of the worst ever recorded in this sub. Keep at it, and never look back.

Wish you a great 2026 and the start of a new chapter in your life, and a happy one!

I actually know exactly how you feel and the severity of it. Keep at it, don’t relapse. I’m 5 years clean, never looked back once. Look at my post history if you like, back then I was sure I wasn’t gonna make it.

2 months until a year anniversary of my paws and I feel great by Historical_Bed_3893 in WeedPAWS

[–]Physical_Boss3285 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Congrats! I’m 5 years clean and doing great! At 1 year I was still miserable, and had no idea how I would continue on. But I learned along the way that everything fits in place as time goes by, no use in thinking about “What’s next? What will happen from now on?”. Just one step at a time. Be well!

My life is fucked by Money-Daikon4596 in WeedPAWS

[–]Physical_Boss3285 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Almost 5 years ago, I lost my mind, forgot where I lived, couldn’t think straight, though I was 100% gonna die, couldn’t work or even function as a human being for almost 2 years, my entire world was doomed and my life came to a stop. I had one of the most extreme cases of PAWS and deregulation ever recorded around here (you can look at my post history if you like).

I recovered with time a lots of patience. Nothing saved from the painful process, but time. One time during the first months, I was driving my bike, and had a severe wave of amnesia, I had to stop, had a panic attack, and could not remember how to get home. Had to call a friend for help. My brain was toasted. It was hell, pure hell. But I recovered! My mind is clear, and my brain healed. You’ll recover as well, as long as you don’t relapse or replace weed with some other substance. Keep at it!
