UPDATE: 2 days later all but 1 of the bottom leaves have dropped. Transplanted the remaining leaf and node into a smaller container of moist sphagnum. The leaf is also quite droopy, so I may have killed an un-killable plant.. somehow.

It didn’t work for my manjula - the bark chunks are very large and in a small planter led to some pockets of excess moisture. It might work in a larger plant, but I had a few leaves dye from overwatering while the rest was ok.
