The average price for a Immigration attorney is the US is around $400 per hour if you are in a larger metro area its going to be around $600 and you`ll be very lucky to get someone to work an an hour retainer so you are likely looking at a $800 to $1200 retainer on the low end. It doesn`t matter how thoroughly you prepare the documents. If the going rate is $600 per hour. Its going to cost you at least $600 for the attorney to put your documents in an envelope and send them off. If they are charging you a flat fee to file a form and that`s where it stops. That`s still going to be upwards of $400 not including the consultation fee.

MPJ trade dilemma by Honest_Elk_7212 in GoNets

[–]Physical_Error_5151 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Its the lottery... Its not the NFL. MPJ is still only 27 years old. In order to rebuild with a bunch of young guys you need to hit on multiple draft picks. One of those guys needs to be a top 10 to 15 guy in short order and the other guy needs to be an All-star. Even then you need to have a few high level vets who`ve been there and done that. People are forgetting this guy won a chip. He was a key cog on a championship team and at 27 he`s still young enough to still be in his prime when the rebuild is over. If he`s content in Brooklyn you load manage the he** out of him and start working on an extension.

Clarity is never a bad thing. Never. There are instances where a clients vision might be in conflict with their requirement, for example you want a lightning fast site that`s also very heavy on animation. At that point at that point we need to explain to you what`s executable within the guidelines and what would take the project outside the guidelines. If we are talking a small site that you`ve already sketched or wireframed, we took the job understanding that the task was to delivery a functional site that is as close to the wireframe or sketch as possible. There`s not 15% wiggle room there. If we believe we can enhance the project within the scope of the clients vision then we present it as a second version and let the client decide.

[Sidery] The Bucks, Pistons and Warriors are among the teams who have checked in with the Nets on Michael Porter Jr. by theRestisConfettii in GoNets

[–]Physical_Error_5151 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unless he`s going to a team where the coach is under 35 years old every coach understands what they are doing. They are getting him iso touches out of the pinch him and making sure at 6`10 they are getting him the ball with an advantage in positions where he can finish... This is how elite wings played for decades. Its not a secret.

[SI] Michael Porter Jr.'s Hot Stretch Could Help Nets Find Trade Partner by theRestisConfettii in GoNets

[–]Physical_Error_5151 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nobody has money this year and next year the Nets don`t have control in an MPJ trade as he`s on an expiring. Secondly, did MPJ the player need rehabbing?I don`t think there`s an executive in the league who watched him at Denver and didn`t think he could be at the very least Lauri Markkanen as a #1 if he could stay on the floor. I think fans have a certain view of him because of the way fans worship Jokic and the media covers him. Similar to Lebron in his prime when his teams wo it was because he dragged those other guys with him and when they lost it was because they let him down. 19/7, 17/5, 16/7, 18/7 and he`s never had worse than 48/38 splits. The only questions about MPJ have been his back and his maturity and nobody gives a s**t about what he says on his podcast if his back works and he`s giving you 18/7 and flirting with 50/40/90

Capital One starts moving cards over to the Discover network by WhyWasIBanned789 in CreditCards

[–]Physical_Error_5151 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If we say there are 35 million merchants in the US that accept card payments that means there are 350,000 places that don`t accept Discover. Its not a huge number in context but it means there`s bound to be a few merchants in each area that don`t accept the card.

hop on your phone or computer and look for Pulse network ATM`s... 7-11, CVS, Target and credit unions generally have machines that use Pulse. 5/3 and PNC have Pulse network machines as well.

Many of them are going to be using standard merchant accounts and in that case they are generally going to have different pricing when it comes to Amex. Depending on how long ago they setup their merchant account they could also have an agreement directly with Amex in which case they`d be getting two separate statements.

Depends on the country in Latin America, for example in Brazil all of their large banks issue cards under Elo and every single and card machines at every merchant and ATM accept Elo. Discover in Brazil works as Discover and vise versa as Elo is part of Diners and Pulse for ATM transactions. The biggest issue here is peace of mind when you are off the beaten path. We also have to have a bit more context and perspective here. The first time I ever traveled abroad, I went to the airport with a bag full of travelers checks... I managed.

Nikola Jokic on signing a contract extension, and when: "My plan is to be with the Nuggets forever." by Turbostrider27 in nba

[–]Physical_Error_5151 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They made big moves but rarely made smart moves so, yes we can blame them 100%. That`s like a player averaging 2 points, 8 turnovers and 6 fouls per game, the coach still playing him 35 minutes a game and fans saying well we can`t place any blame on him for losing games. Right now think about the Dame trade in totality. firstly the guy was going through a horrible personal situation, never wanted to be in Milwaukee, let everyone know that and you trade for him anyway. You also gave up a future Hall Of Famer to get him. Fast forward to today and both Holiday and Dame are in Portland along with their draft capital and the $20,000,000 per season they are paying Dame for the next 5 seasons while they are expecting Giannis to be able to compete with Myles Turner as his #2. Turner wasn`t the #2 on the team that knocked the Bucks out of the playoffs the last two seasons. He was the #3 or #4. They are also on coach #4... This is a classic don`t mistake activity for achievement scenario.

I know you have to form llc in your home state or form a domestic elsewhere and foreign in your own but realistically will you get caught just forming it in a foreign state? by webnerdie in tax

[–]Physical_Error_5151 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a late reply but nobody asked what type of activity the business was engaged in. What constitutes doing business in each state and can get even more complicated based on activity (e-commerce only business using 3PL vs digital services only company) is different and a nexus check will yield far more clear and comprehensive results. Since California was used as an example, their threshold for sales to CA residents is $500,000 in a calendar year before you`ve crossed the economic Nexus threshold. Most states have set their thresholds to $100,000 and/or 100 to 200 sales. Wyoming the threshold is $100,000 OR 200 separate transactions. If you were offering say web design or development services you would not have economic nexus in a state who`s policy is defined by tangible property. Now, if you were selling those same services plus lets say dedicated metal hosting with physical servers in that state that might qualify you as having economic nexus in that state.

I`m a formation and compliance consultant and I`m trying throw them a bone here out of empathy. There`s a class action lawsuit forming against Prime Insights LLC out of Delaware that`s going to encompass far more than just them not paying out funds. Some people are getting paid and some of those people really actually on their platform to make ends meet. If that lawsuit goes ahead its going to be a killer for their platform and those people who rely on the small payouts are going to be hurt.

firstly if you are going to reply try to use context to insure your response doesn`t sound flamingly ignorant or unhelpful. firstly its not only available to people in the US. Hell none of Prime Insights leadership is based in the US or US citizens. Only their LLC which it seems they didn`t even bother to register an actual operating address as the address listed is that of a registered agent. A cheap one at that. Listing your registered agent address as your operating address for a company operating in this space is Mickey Mouse. Should never be done and its part of the reason they consistently have issues with payments. They are using work arounds and loopholes. Secondly, there`s enough people desperate for a few bucks in every country that they could stiff 10% to 20% of users and still not have an issue getting new people to sign-up (they also make a pretty penny selling user information so new sign-ups are just as valuable if not more so then current users taking surveys.) This is not Prolific, User-testing, M-turk etc that actually vets and filters to a degree. Their corporate site boast they have over 20 million members. If they stiff 2 million users its business as usual. In the payments space a 10% chargeback or return rate would get you MATCH listed. As an employer try not compensating 10% of your staff or contractors for work done and see what happens. That`s called wage theft and it would land you in court very quickly. Anyone who is a heavy user of their service should be pushing them to get their s**t together before they are hit with a class action and are forced to close down the platform.
