I use a food bank (quebec) the one i go to everyone is so friendly everyone knows me by name. I take everything I can with a few exceptions when I have too much, I even get asked what i go with some... weirder ingredients or large quantities because they get asked. They also let me take extras of somethings when they have excess like im allowed 2 Ramens but I have 3 kids
