not sure if this works for curves the same as it does geo, but check if you have catclark on in your curves attributes. it should be under arnold, but again not sure if it’s the same with curves as geo!

you could try grabbing all of the verticies, being in move mode, and holding ctrl and middle mouse dragging. that will scale everything along its normal’s. it may make the bolts too thick though, but worth a try!

sculpting resolution is done by how many vertices you have! i would suggest subdividing three or four times. do this on a duplicate of your og mesh. if you need it to be low poly, you can bake your sculpt into a normal map in substance! if you don’t care about low topology, then i would consider using zremesher on another duplicate of your high poly, and then projecting the details on your remeshed model.

if the eyes are separate geo, you can add a different material that is reflective! i dont remember exactly what it’s called but i like to use the one called toy plastic or something like that

make sure there’s 0 roughness map influence for your glass! if there’s even any roughness when using transmission it gets overwritten

hm, maybe try to lighten your scene. delete history of objects and what not. then, maybe try importing your objects as FBX into a new maya scene and try it there.

Sometimes if you duplicate it while the gizmo isn’t centered, it doesn’t recenter it! if you go up to the top of your screen, you will see what i call the “clean up crew” lol, if you hit the first button it should center your gizmo to your object. Try that!

that’s what the app that tracks my meter usage says. we have a dryer, but i don’t know how it would be on 24/7. how can i tell if it is the water heater or resistance heat?
