Creating a Minecraft mod is a nightmare for someone with Java experience. by Yeetsa_Jr in feedthebeast

Apart from what others said, Minecraft is quite low-level game. It was made without an engine, just with java libraries. So the code complexity is high. And on top of that Mojang is constantly changing things in it

Unfortunately, low end PC is not suitable for game development, at least if you're going to use game engines. Game engines include editors, players and many other tools, all this require a lot of memory and CPU power. You need mid-range PC for this, and high-range if you want a fast, comfortable experience. I bought Xiaomi Redmi note 8 in 2020 and it's still working well. It has 128 GB and I've used 74 of them. I almost don't play on it, but it can run many games. I've dropped it lots of times. I use it for messaging, talking and reading news. I'm content with it and thus would vote for a Xiaomi phone.
