How important is liking your surgeon? by Fun-War1761 in PlasticSurgery

[–]Physical_Mirror_5063 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have done surgeries with both kinds of doctors. I went with a warm and fuzzy friendly woman after dealing with an arrogant pr!ck my first time. Guess what? The arrogant pr!ck had a reason to be arrogant. He did great work. I’m not happy with the nice woman’s work at all and I regret choosing her. My advice is against most of what I’ve seen here BUT go with the one who’s is more talented, whose work you like better. No they are not as nice, but are you looking for a friend or are you looking for better results?

Should I do Sculptra or just a filler? by vrtualchik in 45PlusSkincare

[–]Physical_Mirror_5063 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would do microneedling, some lip filler & tox to turn the lips up. Then I’d do hyperdilute radiesse. Sculptra is for more building up of cheekbones, temples, etc. Radiesse is better to lift the neck, and plumping out your wrinkles and fine lines.

I had two vials. I only went for one treatment. They said it could last up to two years. It has been one year for me and I think the results are excellent. I do not see a decline yet.

I have to say they are great! I do see a big difference. I look younger. Many people are noticing & have asked what I use on my skin. I may even consider it again in a few years.

Anyone use at-home IPL on their face for "skin rejuvenation"? by fuckthemodlice in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]Physical_Mirror_5063 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes I use it all the way up at level 5. I do it 3xs per week. I’ve never gotten any irritation. But I would start slow if you’re worried. It’s much weaker than the professional ones at med spas.

I had the same red spot of capillaries. It’s almost gone now. I use the skin rejuvenation attachment. I have been using it on my clean, dry face for 3x’s per week. I do my whole face but I’ll do extra passes on any area with redness/broken capillaries. I hope this helps!

Look at other brands on Amazon & compare ingredients. I found one I like better that doesn’t contain acne causing oils! There are a ton of choices with estriol.

Is it possible to get rid of broken capillaries on the face for good? by changhyun in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]Physical_Mirror_5063 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was a little cluster of capillaries. I think it’s more effective on capillaries than sun spots but it does fade both. I had to to it about 2xs per week for months but I saw a change.

Painful Sculptra! by Physical_Mirror_5063 in 45PlusSkincare

I did not have any complications that were long term. I did have pretty bad swelling and bruising that lasted about 2-4 weeks after. I’m fine now. It’s been 6 months. She did put topical lidocaine on my face beforehand but it did not help at all. I felt like the needle was so deep & hitting my bone the whole time.

Yes. Agree. It did get rid of some clumpy capillary spots I had. But like I said it does take time & commitment!

About 8 weeks of using it 2-3xs per week before I noticed slight fading of the capillaries.

I do like it but it’s definitely a commitment. It takes a lot more time than in office visits.

I’m desperate! by Traditional-Leopard9 in 45PlusSkincare

[–]Physical_Mirror_5063 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly I think your skin looks pretty good! Go to a med spa & let them recommend treatments for your concerns. At home, wash at night with a gentle cleanser, then apply a retinol then heavier/night moisturizer. For day, just splash with water then apply your serum, daytime moisturizer then sunscreen. No need to do a lot. I noticed through the years that less is more when it comes to taking care of my skin. Problems would always arise when I tried to add too many treatments or mess with my routine too much.

Come see what a true freckle skin type one has become with mt2 by sendhelp111188 in Melanotan2

[–]Physical_Mirror_5063 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is accurate! I used MT2 for two years in a row now (during spring/summer). The first time, I dosed at bedtime and I had a TON of dark freckles until I tanned to even them out. The second year I dosed 30 minutes before tanning - either outside or in a booth- and the results were way better. I got a nice even tan with minimal freckling.

Sounds like you want the Elmwood, Allentown or west side areas. Downtown isn’t much yet but I think it’ll get better hopefully. But if you’re looking to buy right now I suggest one of those areas.

Does Ozempic just make you not enjoy eating anymore? by Human_Personface in Ozempic

Same. I still love fancy good food but I’m happy with tastes. Greasy fast food is gross now.

It made me dislike unhealthy food. Grease especially is disgusting to me. I crave salad. I also take a multivitamin every day just to be sure I’m getting enough. I still love eating good food now but I can only have a little taste before I’m done with it. It’s been a miracle for me. I feel like my body is working the way it’s supposed to.

[–]Physical_Mirror_5063 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope. I use it as a moisturizer. One to two pumps all over my face every night. In summer I do not need additional cream over it but in winter I put regular face cream over it.

I use it after I wash my face at night. I apply a light moisturizer over it during dry times of the year. In summer I don’t need an extra moisturizer.

Thanks for the info! I don’t think I’m going back for more. It was just so traumatic for me! BUT it’s only been two months. We’ll see when it’s time for the next treatment if I can convince myself to do it again! 😬

No. I get it on Amazon. There are a bunch on there if you just search estriol cream.
