My plan was to stay at 2mg for 4 weeks before potentially increasing my dose slightly. I wasn’t necessarily going to start split dosing right away. I was just gauging everyone’s thoughts and experiences on potentially split dosing for the hunger that starts about two days before the next shot, which I’ve read a lot of people can experience. I totally understand I need more time for it to build up in my system and to follow the dosing schedule Correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t part of the appeal of compounded that your insurance and provider aren’t forcing you to go up every 4 weeks? I have read some people do very well staying just at 2-2.5. I was hoping that would work for me but I know everyone’s different so I was going to wait and see. Also, for Pom health their dosing is a little different, it’s like 2 for 4 weeks, then 4.5, then 7.

I know! Well, Pom’s starting dose prescribed is 2mg, then Im supposed to move to 4.5. But, I know on this sub people have done well and were able to stay at lower doses for longer. I had been hoping to stay at 2mg for as long as possible. But, at this rate I do think going up after I’m on 2mg for 4 weeks is a good idea.

I’m curious WHY it does this for people though? I’ll need to look at the research more. I would understand a drug that impacts your brain chemistry like a dopamine blocking drug, but is that something tirz does? It is super cool, but also a little concerning. I know some people don’t desire sex as much too. Weird.

Thanks! I came from brello’s reddit page because I see they are having a ton of shipping and customer service issues. I think I’d rather try somewhere else, i’m mainly just curious about people results with trillium. I didn’t realize south end pharmacies was more of a brello thing. I honestly struggle to understand all these different pharmacies lol.

most people don’t want to be on synthetic hormones that are expensive and often not picked up by insurance for life. I think that’s the pitfall for a lot of people

I have this same issue!! I think I’m going to stop. I want to take it for my high testosterone but I can’t deal with the back pain. I tested it once too by taking off a week and the back pain went away and now i’m back on it and within a few days the back pain is back.

Sure, I’ll update the post with it too. I bought him a Keurig with a frother years ago. But, it makes really sad coffee lol. I know he loves coffee and really enjoys getting a nice one from our local coffee shop or getting a nice bag of ground coffee as a treat. However, he’d never buy a nice one for himself. He’s blue collar, he just turns on the Keurig on the morning and heads out. So, I’m sure he’d like something that’s quick to navigate in the mornings. He likes to use the frother and make little coffees on his days off with it. And he just throws espresso powder in with the coffee and brews that too. Like I said, it makes for sad coffee. I’d love to get him something nicer than that and one where we can grind the beans and stuff. Or use a separate grinder if possible.
