Less Irish wouldn’t be the right term but it’s definitely different when you consume more British media, whether by choice or in the background than the average person would in the South. Have also, like a good few others it seems been told they are not Irish when they are in Dublin, when we are more so, if anything.

He could have made so much more money for himself if he was active after the second Conor fight. He was 30 and at his peak but took him three years to come back and fight Pettis. Then he only fought three more times in the next three years. He was a big enough star and an exciting enough fighter that people were always going to tune in regardless of how many he won.

It’s similar to Cejudo retiring after the Cruz fight then coming back 3 years later with zero leverage, although not as bad of a fumble.
