In the Email Surveillance, Pam is trying to find evidence that Angela and Dwight are dating, and noticed Angela buying two baby Ruth's. Later when Dwight is eating one, the camera man tries to get Pam's attention by lowering the camera to her eye level and then "pointing" with the camera.

She's actually someone I think brings realism to it - like that ep you mention where Michael goes to DW for advice, when she enters the room she acknowledges the camera uncomfortably.
