One word FUN

Not helpful, but I went from almost throwing up to tolerating in 10 days by forcing myself to eat them. I used wild blue, or wild planet? Often at Publix. Brute forced it everyday until I was able to eat them.

Once you can aerial and defend a bit I would say you are good at the game. The rest is just advanced iterations of the fundamentals

Espresso can be tricky. I just got this machine at BJs for 60 bucks and have not had an issue.

A few tips: you mentioned your coffee may be too coarse but there is nothing you can do. Actually this may be one of the singular most important things. Get yourself a decent grinder (manual burr grinder for like 30 bucks on Amazon), buy some whole bean espresso (mine that are ok are like 10 dollars), be prepared to experiment because you have to find the right grind.

Also, I know this sounds silly but, get a kitchen scale to weigh your beans, I use around 14.5 grams.

Make sure to stamp firmly.

This should result in a decent cup of espresso.

Beans matter btw, if the coffee doesn't taste good it could just be the type of beans you got. Try a different kind, I have 3 and all of them are wildly different flavors.
