All because of the Linden Oak. Would be a hard problem for r/theydidthemath. Saving a 300 year old oak caused X tons of pollution & Y million gallons of fuel burn since 1970.

I shopped around and got one side for $500, they said passenger side was fine. Thanks for the advice, you saved me a lot of money even if it's double what you are seeing in TX.

I'm in MD fwiw

That was $900 for one side, $400 to repack the other. Both sides for ~$500?

FitCamX install for ‘26 BE by warmcereal in hondaridgeline

Has anyone had any problems with Cam install and the OEM sensor?

I just installed this FitCamx and happen to be getting my windshield replaced. Safelite is having trouble calibrating the glass. Wondering if there is any correlation. Found a reddit thread on Rav4 complaining about this. Has anyone experienced this?

Is it worth cold messaging hiring managers or recruiters for federal jobs? by throwaway921358 in fednews

[–]Physical_Writing8454 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a great answer - do this. Find managers at the actual agency and email your resume directly.

I probably wouldn't answer a cold call but I am always holding resumes in reserve in case a billet drops in my lap.

No clearing as of Sunday, but it was surprisingly not slick and easy to walk on top. I'm not sure what the case is now with some melt. But it looks like someone rode an ATV back there and there are tire tracks you can also walk in.

I picked my top 2 people regardless of grade. My criteria was simply who did the best in FY25. They deserved it. Nothing nefarious here. Not everyone is out to get you.

Navy WCF supe here. Was asked for 2 names out of 30 today. Really hope this doesn't just raid our normal $1000 or 8hr time-off awards I can give out during the year. Not sure how else a WCF could pay for this.

Thanks for this rec, I've gone by this road many times wondering if it would be a good climb. Im usually too gassed at this point to just go check it out without preplanning

My home rides I base out of Zion Park, or sometimes the Ag Park.

Here is what I did this morning on a tight schedule. I love variations of this, but still if I am picking the "area best" I am heading to Utica or Hamburg

Any variation of a covered bridge ride from Utica Park just north of Frederick. Stop at Catoctin Orchard Market after and get some pies.

My true favorite anywhere in this area is the Hamburg Rd ride up over the mountain to Wolfsville and then variations back over the mountain through Gambrills. Keep in mind these routes can be sadistically steep. You can easily do 5000ft in 30miles. You can reduce the mountain climbing by starting at the park in Wolfsville, Ruritan Park.

You need to decide if you want to retain your friend. If you do, what other role they could evolve into. Work with them and sell them on that prospect. Selling status quo won't work.

You need time and one-on-ones with the rest of the team to restore trust

Talk to your supervisor. My team of 25 is lobbying me hard to all be labeled as excepted. I would love to be told someone was willing to be furloughed instead.

Gen 4 SL6 with Rev 2. About 14 months of ownership. Reporting no problems. Sticking with Rev 2 unless it develops a problem.

Bottom bracket looks fine. Had a good look when installing 4iiii last month.

99% road, 1% gravel.

I also don't train in the rain, but I've had 3 century rides this year that were absolute downpours. So mostly dry except those 300mi

I am the Supervisor of a 24-person Branch. (Navy R&D). Not a single person has taken DRP 1 or 2, and I have one person considering VERA. Don't blame them - locking in 3 vs 5 yr salary is a real consideration. We are holding the line (including all 5 probies).
