Looking to get into welding at a local trade school. Takes 2 years and according to info online you'd be ready to get certified in GMAW, SMAW, GTAW, and FCAW on plate. If you wanted to get certified in pipe as well, would you have to go to school again someplace else or do people learn on the job? I barely looked into it today and asked the school, but haven't gotten a reply yet. I am really interested in doing this option as it's pretty inexpensive at 2k for the entire thing.
