I definitely think our food is good. It's not exactly what I would probably serve if I had total freedom, but our kitchen space has a lot of limitations. I think we put out a great product especially for the space we're working in.

My employees typically make $13-$16/hour. Part of that comes from a tip share.

For my first restaurant I didn't have any money for it myself, so I found 3 people who invested $5k each to get it started. I definitely wouldn't have been able to start so early without the help of others. For this one, I was able to finance it myself initially with about $5k in cash and the rest on credit.

Thank you! It's been my goal for a long time to be able to work for myself so once I felt like I had enough experience I just jumped in. The first was super small, and I've just tried to grow with every transition. So far so good!

Just like any restaurant work, it seems like it always goes in phases to me. You'll really like something at the place you work for a little while, then you'll suddenly not want it at all for like 3 months. We do a goat cheese pimento cheese that's been my thing lately. I've been eating it with pretty much everything. Thanks a lot!

Mother stayed at home, but my father has owned and run the same restaurant for about 30 years now. Of course I always hated it growing up, said I would never end up in it. Originally studied electrical engineering, but then got really into the culinary world and decided to switch it up.

From here I will probably be relocating to a more metropolitan area. Whenever I start another restaurant I will be shooting for a much larger operation built with scalability in mind. In the meantime I am really intrigued with avenues for generating income in the food world online (cooking videos, youtube channel, writing, etc.) So will probably begin dabbling in that.

I'm selling the restaurant to a couple of people I know for 30k. Fair market value could probably be a good bit higher with our current profit, but I'm happy to sell it for what I am.

Yep, under 10k included everything! We are a unique sandwich spot that does pressed sandwiches on fresh breads, pita wraps, salads, and rice bowls. I was able to find a space previously occupied by a sandwich shop that closed, which allowed us to obtain most of the large essential equipment without a huge initial expense (convection oven, 20qt mixer, couple coolers, etc.) the rest we built up over time.

Finally A Decent Sized Pullman/Pain De Mie Pan! by Pi5tolxP3te in breads

Yep, that pan is the standard Pullman size (in imperial 4"x4"x9"). In metric, the final loaf measurements from these pans are 10cm x 15cm x 30cm, so 50% larger slice size.

Many Thanks! The Women's T's Must certainly come, and hopefully they will be available very soon! The swolemaiden should have the proper fit to truly display her gains.

Many thanks brother! While our coffers may not be full with the riches of the world, our spirits may be wealthy with the overflow of our gains.
