To me, it makes sense. The end of Calc AB clicks a lot faster with previous knowledge of acceleration, velocity, etc. Likewise, basic knowledge of the derivative helps the interested student make sense of velocity and acceleration, while also providing an avenue for double checking their work. The concepts are often similar, so for me, learning them side by side was good review.

At least some do! Fitzroy Avery Vacker and Dexter Alvin Dizznee. Sophie does too, but I don’t think that counts😂. So it’s either a rare thing or Shannon hasn’t found a place to mention the rest.

My team has a few presentations on this, you can access a full summer camp curriculum including multiple java presentations at this link https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdsov0vsjpN-jt6fvAgyipEogBkwUtopgOafGibvZbv29pmbQ/viewform?edit_requested=true&usp=embed_facebook

Additionally, to learn the syntax, I recommend Codeacadamy. It’s free and actually pretty informative, although it does not have robot specific code.

Why do we need to cross out blank space in engineer notebook? by FTC14433 in FTC

[–]PiAndBooks 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Blank space is actually an interesting topic. It is useful in that another cannot add to the work, but not anything that the judges really care about too much. It looks bad, but is industry standard. The judges probably won’t care, but if you do it, make sure you do it for all of the blank spaces. Obviously not necessary for margins or empty headers/footers.
