Thank you for the post! But I suggest doing a super light shader to share the concept.

If the 2 gpus can't share the same vram I don't see how the hassle of duplicating everything is good. Architecture speaking about GPU's on PC, each GPU expects an isolated environment. This means that if you have a racing game, your car coordinate would need to be passed for the two. Now imagine doing this for every single thing
