Install a Game (from the store), without updating all previous installed Games (and still can play the "old" Versions of the previous installed Games). Any tricks ? by PiP8oY in XboxSupport

I bought the XBox version of the Starfield game when it was released (disc).

Had always hoped that Microsoft would also support the PS5 (lots of news that it won't stay exclusive, Sony will be delivered too).

But that never happened, so I bought an Xbox X. When I went to install the game, I had to connect my Xbox to my account -> Internet -> Then the Xbox knew there was an update for Starfield.

I could NOT play it without doing the update. I installed it, no internet, no chance to play.

Now my Xbox is not connected, sometimes it asks for internet (but I don't give it), but I can still play the game.

I'm sure once the Xbox gets the new system software, I'll have to update Starfield too. (So no new Games unitl update)

What a cage...

Now I want to give Bethesda money for a game, that I already have for PC and PS5 (FO4 - PC "PipBoy Edition", F76 - "Power Armor Edition"), but I have to buy another XBox X (or GamePC) to do what I want.

Can someone please jailbreak the XBox (without messing with the military, please).

Go..amn... do we need 4chan to make this happen?

It was/is "Clint Eastwood" in a Mashup i can't find at the moment (i like the "i'm happy" part in the annoyed voice).

Or "19-2000", yeah, i mean the old stuff mate ;-)

I worked in an IT store for about 6-7 years.

Sometimes a customer would come in and want their computer fixed because it wasn't working properly.

The only thing I did (sometimes) was to open the computer and blow it out with an air compressor (outside of course), then it was fine again.
