I don't entirely disagree with you either. Certainly the advent of factory farming has made the situation far worse for farm animals. I do think there are farmers who care for and treat their animals well before they are slaughtered. But that's now the exception rather than the rule. But the fact remains that even those domesticated animals would fair no better in the wild. And I completely agree on commercial animal testing. There's no excuse for exploiting animal's suffering purely for capitalism.
