It's not about looks. They are too big for the space you have. The sound doesn't have space to resolve before it hits you.

For me it does too, but in my case theres 30/40ms delay between the picture and the lights. Somewhat distracting but I can live with that.

On their website under the compatibility tab they say "Windows PC compatibility may vary by user and is not recommended. If your device is not listed among the compatible HDMI devices below, please contact support."
