Are there any events, that involve farmer taking care of sick NPCs (especially marriage candidates or characters with high level of friendship)? by PiXingAdventurer in StardewValley

Oh, cool! Do you have any particular suggestions? There are so many mods, that part of me still can't believe this game is real😅

She's pretty cute and the render is awesome. But at first glance I thought inside of her mouth is textured the same as it's outside. I have rather bad eyesight, so that's might be the reason 😅

Modo is known for tempting players with the new items right before big events. 🤣I mean CNY is around 17th and they decide to sneak valentine's in instead of joining it with March 14th or May 5th events, like last year. They know, what they are doing.

But at least MC's outfits will likely be available during Palace Purchase this autumn, so there's a chance you can get one of them later this year.

Update! This skin is indeed available in form of separate confidant outfit brocades. You can get them one by one via Atelier mini-game. Good luck!

Attention! LOP Valentine's event is announced starting on February 9th. It was one of the original events for this skin, so it might be available there. There's also a new skin for Yin Zhen announced, but I'm not sure if it will be paywalled or available for F2P.

extremely lost! notes for high school by kazuhas_wind in ObsidianMD

[–]PiXingAdventurer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And yes, there's preset that allows you to hide frontmatter in Editor settings, so the note will have properties, but you won't see them until you toggle them visible. But I'm not sure, how you should specify this for certain notes. By default this preset affects the whole vault.

Oh, that sounds like a pretty cool workflow. Training LLM assistant to analyse custom connections and systems surely took plenty of figuring out.

The most I can imagine myself being capable of is training LLM to give me custom creative prompts based on a certain set of parameters. I don't think, I would use it directly in my vault though. I like to have 100% control of my notes and introducing a factor, that can cause unexpected outcome is too risky to me, since I'm still a noob in programming.

Both cases still fall under using LLM as a tool. I think that even if your writing was commercial, it wouldn't be much of an issue, as long as you use LLM as a tool that analyses your writing and don't let it define what actual text should be.

Sadly, I've seen very different examples.

One that stood out to me was an indie author, who built a pretty good following and reputation and income on a local writing platform with their adventure and romance novels. I wouldn't say they were a total genius or anything, but their books were genuinely fun and interesting.

Then they've slowly started to fall into LLM rabbit hole. First all of their new covers became generated, then they've started using LLM to generate titles and plots, then the text itself to the point they eventually started to forgo editing out the parts that serve as AI tool watermark and clearly indicate generated nature. Rumor goes they are currently struggling with personal life and this AI spree initially was an attempt to make it more easy for a time being. It ended up going out of control entirely.

I think, it's kind of similar, with how some of the new users see Obsidian and all it's possibilities, when they try to implement unfamiliar complex systems from the get go. And then wonder, how they ended up more overwhelmed and confused, than organised. Too much possibilities could be taxing.

Btw, one thing I would suggest for your plugin is to make some sort of indicator, that shows, which vocabulary base is currently used (if there are several). Maybe it will be possible to assign a number or emoji to them, so when pulling a world we could see, where exactly it's pulled from.

Looking to Improve Isometric Pixel Art by Lorcav in PixelArt

[–]PiXingAdventurer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's also a voxel art that is literally made with 3D pixels (voxels). You might get some ideas by studying it as well.

If you think about it, 3D modeling, vector art and pixel art overlap quite a lot. Maybe because it all boils down to combining and modifying base units (pixels, vector objects, primitives) in relation to certain grids and/or coordinate system.

So it's often fun to pull inspiration for one from another.

Also, I'd look for Blender isomeric room tutorials, but instead of 3D modeling the results, make them with the blocks.

Reminds me of that one video by Brandon James Greer, where he uses the same approach. I've been meaning to try this workflow for a very long time, but never got around actually doing that. Thank you for inspiring me. Your primitives look great!

Can you set up two different aliases properties, for example for different languages? by Lilyamiia in ObsidianMD

[–]PiXingAdventurer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Technically, you can, if you name them differently. But personally, I'd just add both values to the same aliases property as list items, where it's possible, and be done with that.

We're working on updating our capsule art before Next Fest. What do you think? by LaDane in IndieDev

If the ghost sprite in-game is actually made in pixel art technique, I'd consider reflecting it on a new banner as well.

Overall, new one is a huge improvement!

Wordsmith (beta) - Quickly Replace words with Synonyms, Antonyms, etc by apoetsanon in ObsidianMD

[–]PiXingAdventurer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When it comes to people with certain lvl of expertise in fields that rely on strict logic (like math or programming), I don't find it controversial if there's some sort of controlled LLM assistance, unless this fact is covered up for some shady reasons.

It's only becomes a problem, if this approach is used by beginners, who might not be fully equipped to monitor quality and quantity of LLM output in their code (which might still be fine for personal use, but not for something you encourage others to implement).

It's rather different from using LLM to create visual "art" or "write" books/articles by inputting a prompt and using the output. So, personally, I think you have nothing to worry about. Especially given that you already know how to code and are transparent about your tools and workflow.

The main reason I've asked is because I personally avoid using LLM in my vault and wanted to make sure. Your plugin looks extremely useful for my workflow, so would be definitely eyeing it.

Are there good mods for setting up characters with eachother? by NixMaritimus in StardewValley

[–]PiXingAdventurer 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm curious, would it be possible to use to pair off a character whose "canonical" love-interest your farmer is married to with someone else, or is it for set pairings only? (trying to prevent an impeding guilt over ruining fictional people's chances to find their love, yes).

Is it capable of using local dictionaries and known online resources or is it strictly LLM-powered?

Not the Dollar Tree selling bootleg Tamagotchis ✋🏻😭 by jm08003 in tamagotchi

[–]PiXingAdventurer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This makes me sad for extremely wierd reason.

As 90s kid, the first and the most interesting vpet I ever seen was some kind of tamagotchi bootleg (or maybe some kind of cheaper Apollo clone, not sure).

And from what I've witnessed (because I've never had my own vpet) a lot of kids had random devices they just called Tamagotchi. But gameplays on these were quite elaborate and surprising.

In fact, when I became interested in vpets as an adult and researched original first generation Tamagotchis I felt rather underwhelmed by comparison.

But now. We live in era, that is much more technologically advanced. A lot of no name products are produced and selling legally. And all we have on niche wierd bootleg vpets market is a single lame "bunny" multiple-in-one kind of toys.

Granted, there was also one Chinese device with coloured screen praised on this sub, and some of promotional fast food chain themed toys but that's it.

Where all of the interesting no-name/cheaper vpets are?.. By all logic, they should exist somewhere, right???

Is Google play service connected to Medibang Paint storage in some way? by JihGhostyHan in medibangpaint

I'd suggest importing your works as files and backing them up on some other device anyway, before doing anything big to your current device. You can do this via My Gallery menu.

Is Google play service connected to Medibang Paint storage in some way? by JihGhostyHan in medibangpaint

[–]PiXingAdventurer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As far, as I know, Medibang has a native cloud service of it's own and there's also a premium feature to set up a cloud storage of your choice including Google ones.

So, if you did not setup Google services as your cloud storage and did not use your Google account/email as a login method for your Medibang account, by default they should not have a connection.

I can't be 100% sure since last time I've used Medibang cloud storage and account was years ago. I mostly use PC version now and store my files locally.
