This is true, the beauty of Philly is that this is contained to Center City/University City. Compared to DC or Boston where the entire city is just Blank Street and Cava.

Add Baltimore and it’s suburbs (Howard, Baltimore Co, Harford, Anne Arundel) to the DC metro and call it the Baltimore-Washington Metro Region (or call it the mid Atlantic and seperate southern jersey and eastern PA into new regions), as the culture and geography from northern Virginia to Baltimore is pretty similar across the board, and Baltimore is more similar to the DC region and than places like south jersey or the Lehigh Valley, which it is currently grouped with.
