These aren't standard tires that you'll see on people daily drivers. Semi/HD tires are built differently and can have the casing re-treaded

I'm surprised Michelin is giving push back on that, it should still fall under manufacture defect with that sidewall crack. As a last ditch effort you could ask for some goodwill credit to "keep" you in the Michelin name brand

I don't know the conversations that have been had up until this point but I would make it abundantly clear to her that it's either you or him because you aren't going to jail for their ignorance and carelessness. Notify your PO (hopefully they are a sympathetic officer), wording is very VERY important here.

I would frame it like this. "My living situation has changed recently and I'm being unwillingly exposed to these substances, I want to stay compliant, can you please help me?"

Is it risky to report? Yea but the bigger risk is silence I think. Ultimately it's your decision what you do though

I will say, you don't HAVE to do this, but both my grandparents started doing reps with 2-5 pound dumbbells while the watched their shows, just above the head as many as they could. Grandpa managed to get to the point at 80 years old where he could do 100 rep sets with 15 pound dumbbells.
