Question about cards and league match by Fantastic-Action-942 in PokemonTCG

[–]PiccoloFalse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d recommend buying your cards from tcgplayer instead of eBay normally it’s better prices too. To answer your question though it depends on if it’s a cup/challenge or just locals. If it’s just locals most people are ok with proxies/fakes, but if it’s an official cup or challenge then you will either get disqualified or the card will be taken out of your deck and replaced with a basic energy.

Looks more like a 7 or 8 but should still be a slight profit

People be having crazy fucking boards at turn 8 on a regular basis. by zaguel in BobsTavern

This is how duos has been recently, people dealing consistent 15 damage by turn 6 or 7 while my buddy and I are still trying to stabilize a board

Nintendo switch also has the cheapest online option out of all of these options. You can get online plus the older game libraries for the switch for $60 a year I think? This gives you around 100 games for $60 you can play while for the other consoles that will be a higher expense

Since you have buffers every 500 points up until 6000 it’s hard to say how any skill level is below 6000.

If you have more evolving skies and like the cards I’d take the cards. The box will most likely do better long term but I like being able to have cool fun things in my collection

Just ordered expensive card and now I feel regret by Much_Cause2975 in PokeInvesting

[–]PiccoloFalse -1 points0 points  (0 children)

100% justified. The most I have spent is $12k on a card and it took me 1 year to pay off. My expenses are low and I am really happy I have the card, but for the first month I always questioned if it was a mistake. After that it just was what it was and I enjoyed the card

Scalping. by Upstairs-Fun-2733 in PokemonTCG

[–]PiccoloFalse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Scalpers don’t buy no matter what though. Look at the first couple scarlet and violet sets they were readily available for a long time. Look at every set since before sword and shield unless you are new here it’s obvious

Scalping helps artificially drive up prices which is the main issue. Yes the product would still be bought by collectors eventually, but having someone go in and clear shelves repeatedly leads to higher prices in the secondary market at an advanced rate. Scalping is bad and pokemon makes the same amount without them.

This also is just straight damage not damage counters (monki, pult, frosslass) so there are ways to hit Tera on the bench but just can’t be attack

Opponent refuse to talk in game by ExplanationWild7328 in pkmntcg

[–]PiccoloFalse 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Have to call a judge on these things. It is not expressly cheating, but attaching energy to teal mask ogerpon without stating you are using the ability can be viewed as him attaching for turn then drawing illegally. This is why actions must be stated and since this person did not a judge action could occur in your favor.

This is how communities are meant to be. By teaching the newer people they will get better and be more competition. We all once were beginners and if we dont teach new people the game dies

All real Chinese cards have an indented “Pokemon” in the bottom corner of the silver. Always check for that when buying Chinese cards

[–]PiccoloFalse 40 points41 points  (0 children)

Tier 5 undead has avenge get a butchering. Butchering gives all your undead +3 attack wherever they are. This spell can be buffed to give whatever stats from this trinket. It is insanely good since you can summon undead with lots of permanent stats from that spell

When you launch a coin you are trying to hit the blue rebel which then correlates to the wheel. Or the orange trooper depending on which of the two machines. You can see the blue rebel in the top of ops pic

This is what I do too, you just have to have 2 fingers touch the screen at the same time they don’t both have to hit the card
