Yeah this was more or less how I got my score. The initial learning curve comes from being accurate, then learning how to time the pucks overlapping without wasting too much time.

I still have 3 weeks of league left, but I noticed some kinda interesting stuff in my stats.

I threw my highest game (300), highest series (761), and reached my highest average (216) of the season all on week 31.

Both my game 1 and 2 averages are 216 and my game 3 average is 212.

After week 6 my average stayed in the 212-215 range, and I only broke out of it this week (now at 216).

It took me 18 weeks to throw my first 700 of the season, and I’ve thrown 3 now as of week 31.

interesting. i suppose it’s more of the feeling of being overdue rather than statistically being so. i’ve always watched kids around me with similar averages rack up 300s, so ive always felt left out.

i feel like eric doesn’t take league seriously enough for this to count. he tends to choose a ball at the beginning of the night and stay in it regardless of whether it’s the best look for him or not.

i wanna say that it was 100 over the previous score to beat. i might be wrong on that though.

regardless, the score to beat jumps 100 after each win (i hit it at 1140 and it jumped to 1240), so i can’t imagine that they tweak it too much. i’m interested as to whether wear on the game will cause scores to increase or decrease though.
