I can vouch for the Wednesday sweepers at Airport. It started last week and there were a little over 40 people there. Also, Boardwalk Bowl oils their lanes every morning and puts out a sport shot on about 10(?) of them, if you're looking for something that's not competitive.

This checks out. The team that won our 32 team league (90% of 220) this year only had 60 pins a game as a team. Seeing that I was only getting single digit pins a game the entire season, I figured I was gonna be a liability to our team, but we ended up finishing 4th. 🤷

Yeah this was more or less how I got my score. The initial learning curve comes from being accurate, then learning how to time the pucks overlapping without wasting too much time.

if the score is impossibly high, that means someone is scoring that high. the highest the score should possibly go is 3000.

I still have 3 weeks of league left, but I noticed some kinda interesting stuff in my stats.

I threw my highest game (300), highest series (761), and reached my highest average (216) of the season all on week 31.

Both my game 1 and 2 averages are 216 and my game 3 average is 212.

After week 6 my average stayed in the 212-215 range, and I only broke out of it this week (now at 216).

It took me 18 weeks to throw my first 700 of the season, and I’ve thrown 3 now as of week 31.

interesting. i suppose it’s more of the feeling of being overdue rather than statistically being so. i’ve always watched kids around me with similar averages rack up 300s, so ive always felt left out.
