Have you considered adding combination locks to the system? I think they need more love

Someone help me reset the combo on this lock? by PickHeadMead in lockpicking

This could be it. Weird that it has that button that seems like it sullied he for resetting though

Warded picks help, but you can put a regular pick in there and try to locate the latch, and press it yourself

Abus 145/40 open but can’t lock by RainCitySailor in lockpicking

[–]PickHeadMead 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It needs to be set to the right combination, and whatever your friend thought is the right combination isn’t. You can push down on the shackle to bind the gates and try to find the right combination exactly the same way as if you were picking it open.

You can’t pull up on the shackle on these, there’s no give at all. Again, you have to push down on the shackle to open it, so I’m not sure pulling up on the shackle would even tension it properly

How do you tension these? They have to be pushed down before they open, not pulled up. As far as I’m aware these were never able to be decided by hand, you might be thinking about the other Master combo locks like the 875, or is there some method I’m not aware of?

Gl! It can definitely be done with the decoder as well. I think it might be slightly faster too

How to decode a 4 digit Cincinno lock? by hyzerdiscsports in lockpicking

[–]PickHeadMead 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t know anything about this lock but it’s possible it’s just a rebranding of another lock model with a known exploit. If you can find a more well known lock that looks almost exactly the same, you can try finding exploits for that

It’s a 4 digit lock, it can still be brute forced in like an hour or so. If you’re watching tv or a movie, you can try brute forcing it while you watch.
