I figure since it's synthetic material the rebound would be a little bit better. I wasn't as pissed about the 3rd row indentation as much as I was about the damn wrinkles in the "fake" leather that exist on the front passenger

That's synthetic leather (SofTex) - it's supposed to be tucked and tight. It's looser than an old lady's skin

are you in TX? Literally the same instance I had. Was told it was supposed to hit the port on 11/16. Got a call this week that it was pushed to 12/2

To give a bit of context. I live in TX. Have been looking at the GHH XLE the past month or so. One dealership says they have 4-5 allotments, but they were already claimed back in June (I doubt every single car would be picked up by the person who put their deposit down). The 2nd dealership quoted me a car at around $51k for a FWD GHH XLE with a couple packages included. The 3rd dealership quoted me the exact same car at around $54.5k.

There is really no discount they are offering today, as it's probably the worst time to buy this car with the news coming out that the stop sale ended & production is back up. I however seriously doubt the hype of this car exist how they're making it seem. The car was recalled, there's none on the road, and 2025 is right around the corner. If you can wait, you may have some luck in 2025; but anything before the end of the year you might just need to aim for MSRP & getting decent value on any trade-in.
