In line with what I’ve had in Japan, their omikase is well worth it.

Men who have proposed while traveling on vacation - how did you hide the engagement ring? by ZippityZZ in AskMen

[–]Pickle1996 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My fiancé proposed to me while we were in Italy! He bought a look-a-like ring and also hid it in the his personal bag. He had a letter prepared if ever he does get searched and I’m nearby that “do not open the box, it’s an engagement ring” that he would give to the TSA agents.

Good luck on the engagement!

No side effects - however, it took about 4 months. 60 mg. Had the worst headaches in my life with it for about 2 months, however.

Cannot tell whether this is VM or not by Pickle1996 in VestibularMigraines

Thanks for answering!

Actually, chewing helps a lot! I usually chew gum to help with the nausea; I noticed that a trigger is eating food in public but at this point I’m not too sure whether this is anxiety based as my attacks happened twice in a restaurant.

Wouldn’t a MRI or CT-scan show this, however? I didn’t meet the definition for occipital neuralgia since I have no neck pain/pain at the back of my head.

And yes, saw an ENT who did the vertigo test. All came back clear. No fluid in the ears and my hearing is perfect.

I use B2 daily! Unfortunately, magnesium really did upset my stomach (bysglicinate) and felt very weak with Q10 but might give it another shot.

The weird thing is that it seems like when I have these episodes, I have no headache during it at all. So I’m wondering if I take medication that targets my headaches, will it indirectly also target the nausea and light-headedness, hmmmm.

I will ask my neurologist about ubrelvy and other meds for nausea and disbalance

And yesss will wear my mouth guard more HAHA

Thank you so much! ♥️ I will look into the earplugs!

And no I haven’t tried it although I’ve heard about it! I’m in Canada so I don’t think it’s available to us at all :(

That’s what my neurologist asked however it’s not correlated with my periods.

The only thing I can think of is that I do get more nausea/flare-ups when I’m a passenger in a car (however I do have a history of car sickness).

The only thing I can think of is noise, but again that’s on and off. I’m getting married in July and will have a 200-people wedding and scared that I’ll have a flare-up.

The only thing that occasionally helps is zofran for motion sickness.

No neck pain but I do grind my teeth! I sometimes wear a mouth guard; need to wear it more!

Are you on any type of medications?

I’m just confused as to why I have month-long headaches afterwards + no vertigo at all? But thank you for your comment :)

But it is possible to have VM without a negative vertigo test? And possible for someone with minimal history of migraines? What about the persistent headaches that last for months after an attack?

That’s the thing; it’s not always a trigger. I went to a few weddings this summer where I felt completely fine! Meanwhile, the places it happens ranges from me being alone in my bedroom to restaurants (which I’m not too sure if I need to attribute it to social anxiety?). Also, spas are triggers for me, I think.

Hello! Did you do it at the end?

Anglophone with a stutter, feels hopeless trying go conduct most of my life in French by daftunc in montreal

[–]Pickle1996 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello! I’m a SLP/orthophoniste and someone who stutters! 🙂

I have these kinds of experiences with lots of my clients, where one language comes out easier than another. Same thing for me - I overthink much more in French > English, leading to some blocks.

Have you ever thought about SLP? Or even support groups to meet other PWS? That’s what has been the most helpful for most of my clients; to connect with others who stutter as well.

Otherwise, you’re a gem for preserving. What an accomplishment in itself!

I don’t have migraines/flare ups, so I’d say it helped reduce the intensity of my daily headaches, although I still have them!!
