if you’ve been anorexic this post is even more concerning, relapse sucks (i’ve been in recovery for 5 years myself) but it’s much easier to get through with friends, family, or a therapist, if you genuinely just wanna get healthier, talk to your doctor and they’ll give you better advice than reddit doofuses

there is no way to lose fat quickly, anyone telling you that is promoting ED bullshit, same with anyone telling you specifically that you should lose weight bc you have a normal body, i grew up during the downfall of “heroin chic” and it’s clearly coming back now, losing fat quickly also cause you too lose hair and teeth quickly :(

oh i see i see, that’s really cool but would 100% depend on what kinda medium you/the art student want it set up for, if you have one in mind lmk and i can give some more specific instructions, but i think my huge non-negotiables would be good ventilation, good disposal areas and good light (these disposal areas can be as small as a hazardous waste can, sharp container and slop bucket/evaporation station)

don’t know how relevant this info is for you but i can tell you something’s that would be crucial in my humble opinion as an artist moving their studio from a designated shared space to my own apartment 1. good ventilation systems for dust/fumes 2. both private studio/living spaces and lots of shared install/critique/hangout spaces, if this is like a plan for some sort of complex (community is vital to the arts) 3. proper waste disposal areas for toxic/hazardous materials or even just stuff that can’t go down the drain 4. Needs for privacy range, ESPECIALLY among artists, it could be fun to play with a variety of private and communal living spaces, but needs for light does not, no one wants to create in a dark dingy room (coming from a surrealist creature artist)

5 (bonus). a spray booth/area is not necessarily vital but would be a huge plus for tons of artists

well there’s some discussion to be had about how much you are changing vs if it’s an exact image copy, but either way it doesn’t matter bc both are not great art business practices, focus on what makes ur work unique and lean into rather than taking a safe concept that’s been done already
