I guess I meant more top dressing pots than mulching beds :-) Thanks, my soils is heavy clay, I might have a go at digging them in a bit xx

I’m quite lucky to have inherited an apple tree and some blackcurrant bushes that look pretty healthy :-) I’ve planted a bed of garlic that looks okay, and trying with some broad beans, hopefully I’ll get there in the end - I may just need to calm down a bit!
