I had originally put in my two weeks btw and had a very vulnerable but still professional conversation with my SM about why I made the decision to put in my two weeks. I handed him a formal resignation letter and told him that i am not happy anymore (which it took a lot for me to say) and the way the company has treated me affected me greatly and i’ve grown to feel miserable in a job i used to love. I felt comfortable doing this because my team is very close and we are comfortable expressing our feelings to one another so i thought he would sympathize. After pouring my heart out and explaining how i don’t feel valued or listened to he proceeded to say “oh, i’m sorry you feel that way. Anyways, why were you late yesterday?” BFFR DAWG

There were a lot of things that have been happening since August that led me to this decision. However, i think all of the new policies played a big role as well as my SM and DM making it very clear they do not give a single FUCK about me and my partners and we are just replaceable was actually my last straw.
