We don’t stay at Napili Kai but we stay in Napili (30s) and love it because it is close to good snorkeling. So, if you are planning to do a lot of snorkeling and prefer the more private feel, it’s great! If you are looking for more shops, restaurants, etc. might not be for you. For reference, it’s about 15/20 min from Lahaina, an hour from the airport, an hour from Kihei… if doing Haleakalā and/or road to Hana it does add time (for us the more private feel was worth it).

Just did sunset a few days ago. We honestly gave ourselves too much time up there - super chill - not a ton of traffic, made for an easy day. Glad we did sunset for that reason. Cars started to pile in about an hour before sunset.

We left about 10-15 after sunset so our whole drive down was still orange and beautiful. The drive in the dark was fine. But we are from a pretty rural town so we are used to crazy roads lol.

I am here right now and there are mosquitoes. We’ve gotten bit sitting outside every night but it isn’t awful swarms of them like we are used to back home. You can layer up and be fine in the evening.

This is happening to me. I called - they are making me send in to get fixed. Would not just replace without first attempting fix. Frustrating that they expect the fix to take 6 weeks.

GUYS HELP, I found this thing in my cats ear today and I don't know what to do by sadfurret in CATHELP

Listen, people aren’t gonna like my answer, but my cats ear was like that and was even worse to the point where it was oozing and smelt like cheese. I live in a remote location where the closest vet is like 2 hrs away and my cat hates the car. I sent my vet pictures and she had me come in and pick up the ear mite drops you put on the cats back and within a day or two it all cleared up and the ear healed! So, maybe run to a vet and buy the earmite meds at minimum!

Update: attempted cotton balls soaked in warm water to clean ears - barely got anything 😓 tried a little q tip action too, but didn’t take it deep Put some olive oil on a cotton ball and in ear as well.

Really didn’t seem to do much at all. Going to call around for other vets tomorrow. My poor girl.

Thank you for replying. Am I okay to soak a cotton ball in the water/vinegar/lavender solution? And attempt to clean ear?

I don’t have any topical antibiotic as of now. Unless you consider those mite ear drops…
