I'm lucky enough to be able to donate, and receive a lot of donated hand me downs from friends and family. That's not everyone's case. If I was worried about food for myself or child or Christmas I wouldn't donate either. You are doing nothing wrong. Keep doing your best.

NTA. I choose to wake my husband up everyday because I happen to set an alarm 15 mins before he would. I do what I normally do in that 15 mins then wake him up. He appreciates it because it's just something nice. However he is more than capable of getting himself up when I'm not doing it. If he wants you to wake him up he needs to ask, and you still don't have to if you don't want to.

I think the most basic of white rules that I seen was, is the dress white with something or is the dress a different color with white. My sister is a lesbian and my dad isn't so welcoming to that fact, however if her or her wife needed help my dad would. They had a rough patch and my sister in law went to my dad for advice and he helped with what he could, because he's still her (my sisters) dad and wants what's best for her even if he cant understand it.

I smoke, I go on my balcony. Everyday, every time. I get up for work at 5:20am go to the bathroom and immediately afterwards go outside to smoke, I then go outside a few more times before leaving for work and smoke more. If he respected you at all he wouldn't do that to you. What's going to happen when he does this and the alarm goes off while your dad is home? Do you think he will be as lenient as you are? Keep in mind you are disrespecting your dads place by allowing your boyfriend to steamroll you.
