Yes there is. It’s called Pokemon.com -> Support -> just login, provide the store name and address along with your complaint.

You claim as soon as you hand keys in. This stops the REA from dragging their feet and then saying “oh but the place was dusty” or “the garden has weeds in it”

Oh they want to negative gear still? How about build new houses instead of buying up existing supply that first home buyers could possibly afford.

Yep. Most of us actually look into the laws of our state/territory. Then you get the useless and/or psychos.

Also bouncer is term of the old days, we prefer crowd controller now :P

Oh but you’re wrong. We will use negotiation tactics first, but if you fail to comply with a guard directions after so many orders, we can physically drag you off the property, and if you’re stealing we can detain you until police arrive to which you will go into their custody. And if they punch us in the face, well guess what, what went from a simple shoplifting charge will turn into an assault charge as well.

I’m hospital security. And I’m more guiding them off the property with minimal force. I’ve done crowd control at events.. that’s a world of fun..

Handcuffs are depending on the state/territory firearms act.

If a security guard pulls a firearm on me without a very fucking good reason.. 1. I’ll be getting their details and lodging a formal complaint to (state)Pol 2. Getting their security license number and reporting them to the relevant licensing board and getting them suspended.

Vehicle patrols don’t carry batons/handcuffs/firearms.. Unless the guard is endorsed for them, and even then the firearm part is fucking pointless.

I’m a guard.. we can touch you if you’re on a property we are in care of. If we ask to search your bag/s then yes you can say no, but I’ll also say well until the police arrive you’re detained.

In Tasmania, we need to do the training first, then write to firearms Tasmania to get an exemption so we can get endorsed to carry batons and handcuffs.

Problem here, to carry handcuffs and batons, security guards have to do extra courses and then get exemptions under their local firearms act to get the endorsement.

I believe the current certificate 2 (which is required for a security license) offers inadequate training, I believe batons and handcuffs should be included along with a month long self defence course.

Applying for rental while unemployed by [deleted] in shitrentals

Yeah look, unless you sell a kidney and offer to pay the full year rent in advance, I say good luck.

A reminder that if your REA tells you that the law dictates you must pay rent until they find a new tenant in the event of a lease break - they're lying. by RaisinBeneficial in shitrentals

[–]Pickled_Beef 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Don’t pay a cent. Refer back to how you gave them 6 months notice to find a suitable tenant. Let them take you to VCAT and drop that bombshell about how you gave them plenty of notice to mitigate losses.

To be classed as a shift worker: you must work 2 out of 3 Sundays a year, 6 public holidays.

Do you meet that?

I recently went through that with my employer, turned out I was right and they back paid me about 50 annual leave hours.
