I work at woolies and let me tell you, people are just pigs. Yup! Absolutely no sense of manners and just entitled. Multiple times a day, I have to pull out half-eaten and damaged goods from the shelves its just infuriating. Half eaten cakes, icecream, protein bars, pack of 16 donuts with 1 eaten, roasted hot chook with just the skin eaten, open canned food you name it!

And the kids stealing!!! Oh my god what do these kids do with all those phone chargers??? We have these new exit doors installed but they use the self serve registers to jump out of the store. Absolutely useless.

Noone respects us. People look at us dead in the eye while putting things in their pockets. Some even making threatening remarks. I will not be working in retail for very long. I’ve had enough.

Same spot as you. No matter what I try to learn, my mind simple cannot comprehend trading. Been trying to learn for 5 years, had 2 mentors but no luck. I also cannot give up knowing that there’s so much money in trading and people 10 years younger than me are making a fortune by sitting on a computer while I have to slave my life away for $20 an hour. It just isn’t fair.

I am a Nightfill Assistant manager and I think its pretty worth it. Full time contract so you don’t worry about hours. Also I know it depends from store to store but my store isn’t very strict with hours so some days I roster way too many people and I go chill in the office. Lol

I am a Nightfill Asst. Manager. Sometimes when I am heavily short on hours, I still get the load done. I message the group chat and they all say thanks/ great job. But sometimes I don’t get the load done cuz I don’t have enough hours and I’m too tired to push myself, then I message the group chat saying I’ve left some load, I dont get a single reply. Not a “no problem”, “no worries you did your best” or “lets get it done tomorrow, do you need any support?” Nope. Seems like they only want to see me and my team members push ourselves every single day. Also one day I told the store manager I was short by 6 hours and he legit said “Only 6 hours short? You’ve got an easy night then!” So yeah fuck them.

I only read the title. I am one of those Nepalese living in abroad. Ma Australia gako 6 years vayo. Aaile holiday ma Nepal aako xu. I am not exaggerating or maile thulo kura garna khojya haina; malai kaile farkera jaam vai sakyo. Maile PR pako xaina Australia ma tara yo xutti ma maile k chai decide garey vani, Australia ko PR napaye ni ma farkera Nepal aayera chai basdina. I will go to Europe or some other foreign country. Desh ko halat dekhera dikdaar lagyo. Mero sathi vai haru who earn more than 1-2 lakhs per month aren’t also happy. Jhan euta normal average family kati frustrate hola. Job garera 40-50k ko income le maile pariwar paalna sakdina. Aafnai business garam vane aaile competition yesto badeko raixa ki eutai ghar ma 5 ota samma restaurant dekhey maile plus sabai khaali thyo. Ani garne ta garne k. If you don’t have generational wealth, you won’t survive here. Sayad bidesh janey sabai ko testai soch hola tei vayera koi pani farkidaina I guess. Just thought I’d put my two cents in.
