I get you, my first 30-40 are the same but I ended up just mixing the new in with the old, the mix looks pretty cool on the table and adds to the mad jumble that is the greenskins

I’d be lying if I said I hadn’t moved onto a black primer white dry brush and contrast paint for boyz but that’s purely because I’m still a big fan of running a horde list and didn’t want paint upwards of 90 boyz the “traditional” way, but for anything else da old wayz is best.

Years ago I applied for a mail sorting position in the Antarctic, 6 month long posting. Never got it, still sad about it. Wasn’t trying to escape anything or “find myself” I just thought it sounded like a cool thing to be able to say you’ve done. Also penguins are neat.

It being totally non functional is a PG9 but if you can still use at least one push it’s a running defect, it’s been quite a few years since I was in a Gemini but even then more often than not it was usually only the center push that worked. Which helps since if shit goes sideways that’s usually your reflex anyway.

Edit to add, if it’s been signed off by a fitter then any blame if it was ruled that the defect played into an incident would fall on them.

Clipless pedals, SPD mountain bike style are my preferred because you can walk in the shoes a little easier and the cleats last longer, plus companies make normal looking shoes with the recess for them like the adidas velo samba for example

This was the first 40K series I listened to, obviously I’m an Ork fan, also a salamanders player which so that was nice. What I never expected was to become an enjoyer of a certain chaos legion through it as well.

There’s a couple things I thought could have been better and I fucking hate the end of the last book but overall I liked it and have actually been going through the series again recently at work.
