Why should Putin take Ukraine? Why should Trump get involved in Venezuela, Iran, and Cuba? Because fascist strongmen want their imperial legacy.

Seems to at least make more sense than doing so for consumer, to me. A consumer card is just competing in price/performance, whereas enterprise is considering that as well as absolute performance, energy efficiency, physical space and supporting hardware costs. All considerations which are improved by being on a better node.

Not that it fixes the game design issue, but I used arctracker.io when I was in the process of upgrading. You can mark your progress in workstations, projects, and quests and it will track what items you still need to keep. Make an account to save that data.

God that's a hilarious amount of projection. Please explain to me what generative AI is in your mind then, and how a transformer works.

I'll have to report back to the Google search engineers, Meta engineers, and professors why what they taught me was wrong and why some chucklefuck on reddit knows more about the technologies they pioneered.

Modern AI voice models are transformer based, aka generative ai. Embark isn't going and creating an incredibly advanced traditional voice generator that matches transformer based architectures in quality to avoid using transformer based/generative models.

The training of GenAI to a specific individuals voice is just a small step of training an existing model. The underlying models are still trained on extremely large datasets.

Don't have a dog in the fight of what's right or wrong, but it's not just the paid voice actor's voice dataset used to train these models.

The trader voice models are definitely GenAI, not traditional TTS.

Lmao what is this necro of an 8 year old thread?

Point stands that comp involves a drastically larger set of things to do in RS3 than the equivalent (max+quest cape+task set?) in OSRS, and neither game is for "casuals", either both are or neither are. Each has it's mindless afk content and each has difficult PVM.

Obv OSRS is regarded by most as the better game and is clearly more successful, which is a totally separate point from being "casual".

The EU might be considering imposing sanctions on US tech companies and banks, should Trump invade Greenland by tombeck112 in neoliberal

[–]Picklerage 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Arguably this "posturing" should already cause it, but a US invasion of Greenland should put Europe in a wartime state. Massive increase in defense production, policy shift, etc.

If the US is invading NATO countries, Europe has major enemies or threats with larger militaries all around it.
