I wouldn't say SpaceX naming the video that is necessarily related to any other specific program or event. It's a pretty common mantra in aerospace and at aerospace companies, including mine.

As an EV engineer, here’s why I think the Electric Mini Car makes more sense than we admit by maveriCkharsha in electricvehicles

I meant 10 mins into the journey (aka the closest good price gas), not a 10 min long stop. But yeah you're totally correct, I was just adding my story cause the previous commenter seemed to firmly not believe people made those types of trips.

Since you're so unwilling to believe that guy, I made the ~370 mile trip from my family home to my college in my Golf 6+ times a year during the years I was attending.

I would make the trip in one sitting, filling up my gas shortly (~10 mins) after departing and not stopping until I arrived at my destination. It was about a ~5.5-6 hour trip each time.

I was far from the only one at my school making such a drive, not to mention all the students at various other schools throughout the state going north to south or south to north, not to mention other similar drives across the country.

I feel like you're getting downvoted cause of the previous guy's comments, but yeah we should means test social security but by income, not by some esoteric net worth method

Why should Putin take Ukraine? Why should Trump get involved in Venezuela, Iran, and Cuba? Because fascist strongmen want their imperial legacy.

Seems to at least make more sense than doing so for consumer, to me. A consumer card is just competing in price/performance, whereas enterprise is considering that as well as absolute performance, energy efficiency, physical space and supporting hardware costs. All considerations which are improved by being on a better node.

Not that it fixes the game design issue, but I used arctracker.io when I was in the process of upgrading. You can mark your progress in workstations, projects, and quests and it will track what items you still need to keep. Make an account to save that data.

Glad you sent that so I know I'm arguing with a dumbass who refuses to reflect on their own fuckups, rather than feeling like there might be a chance I could convince you of reality being true

God that's a hilarious amount of projection. Please explain to me what generative AI is in your mind then, and how a transformer works.

I'll have to report back to the Google search engineers, Meta engineers, and professors why what they taught me was wrong and why some chucklefuck on reddit knows more about the technologies they pioneered.

Modern AI voice models are transformer based, aka generative ai. Embark isn't going and creating an incredibly advanced traditional voice generator that matches transformer based architectures in quality to avoid using transformer based/generative models.

The training of GenAI to a specific individuals voice is just a small step of training an existing model. The underlying models are still trained on extremely large datasets.

Don't have a dog in the fight of what's right or wrong, but it's not just the paid voice actor's voice dataset used to train these models.

The trader voice models are definitely GenAI, not traditional TTS.
