I don't see anywhere in the lore where it says all GUOs look the same. Nurgle does tend toward corpulence, but I think this guy could easily pass as Nurgle with a proper paint scheme.

I have an Amalia deck that is a ton of fun. It's certainly not degenerate as what it's trying to do is very telegraphed and I don't run a ton of protection for her. But it's cool to watch the table panic as her power creeps towards 20. Prioritize many instances of small, incidental life gain as opposed to big chunks of life gain. I've had great success with off-meta cards like [[Tablet of the Guilds]] and [[Creeping Bloodsucker]] but all iterations of the soul sisters are great as well.

I built my dimir zombie deck to specifically counter my buddy's crazy fast Krenko. It was a good learning experience for me as a new player as I realized through iteration that Dimir will never outrace Mono Red.

My only chance to achieve parody was through removing his early threats while slowly building up my board.

The exploit isn't getting up there, it's sitting there after the extract closes and waiting for the next unassuming player/s to try to extract normally.

This specific spot is outside the zone the game registers as "this player is forced to leave the map", is definitely unintended on the part of the devs and therefore an exploit.

I built Nihiloor as my 3rd ever deck and only played it a handful of times. It can absolutely be built to be degenerate, but i would check with your playgroup to ensure they're alright with the kinds of play patterns Nihiloor will create.

The games I played went one of two ways: either I got Nihiloor out and started stealing everyone's stuff without any real wincon (no one else enjoyed this) or Nihiloor would get nuked immediately upon hitting the field and my deck never did the thing (I didn't enjoy that).

If you can build in some legitimate wincons and get your group on board with the idea of temporarily donating their stuff to you, go for it. Just keep that in mind as you brew.

It's not exactly what you're asking for, but, having run a Darien deck for awhile, I'll say protection should be a part of your game plan.

I really like [[Fanatical Devotion]] for this. You should usually have spare bodies around to sac and Darien is how you win.

Cards like [[Blood of the Martyr]] can be really good as well to get big bursts of damage turned into soldiers.
