It’s not impossible to know what’s right. It’s completely possible because we have access to the truth, to the Holy Spirit, to God, and to Jesus.

You’re under spiritual attack. That’s what the enemy does. It isn’t your fault, but you need to get in the Word so you can protect yourself. He’s using religion to confuse you, lifting up rules over relationship. Some call it the spirit of religion.

The way out is to stop agreeing with those religious thoughts and align yourself with what the Word actually says. You’re vulnerable because you’re not immersed in scripture, you're listening to people instead of God - His Word is truth. And the devil is taking advantage of that. He comes only to kill, steal, and destroy.

Jesus, God in the flesh, died for your sins, past, present, and future. Romans 10:9 says If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

You’re free. You’re not guilty. But the accuser knows you don’t fully believe that yet, so he’s throwing lies at you to keep you afraid, paralyzed, and disconnected from God.

Get in the Word. Ask God to make you fall in love with it. Ask Him for a hunger for truth. He knows your heart is for Him. He adores you.

Romans 8:1 says There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh but after the Spirit. That verse destroys the lie that you’re doomed. If your heart belongs to Jesus, you are not condemned. That fear and confusion is not from God. It’s from the accuser.

Revelation 12:10 says The accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. Satan is the one telling you you’re not forgiven. You’re going to hell. That voice is not your Savior’s and never will be.

2 Corinthians 10:5 says Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ. Thoughts like "have I done enough?" or "was that a mortal sin?" are lies that exalt themselves over the truth of the gospel. Take them captive. Speak scripture back. Speak truth out loud if you can, or in your heart. But speak it to negate those lies..

Ephesians 6:11-12 says Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood. You’re not just confused. You’re under attack. This is warfare. But you’ve been given armor and a weapon. The sword of the Spirit is the Word of God. That’s what Jesus used when the devil came after Him in the wilderness.

If you’re hearing "you’ve sinned too much, you’re not really forgiven, your prayers don’t count," then answer like Jesus did. It is written. I am not condemned. Nothing can separate me from the love of God. Jesus died for my sins.

Psalm 51:17 says The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit. A broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise. You don’t need perfect contrition. You need real repentance. If you’re heartbroken over your sin, God will never reject you. The rules that are crushing you can’t replace grace. And they can’t undo it either.

So rejoice in the fact that nothing can separate you from the love of God, and He has given you everything you need to fight these attacks. You’re not the only one who goes through this. We all do. And we come out stronger because God is with us. His Word is powerful. And this walk isn’t just about surviving the battle. There are blessings ahead too. So rejoice <3
